A simple, economical alternative to the traditional boot-style connector, the Tylox® 3SPW push-fit connector provides a watertight seal between a concrete structure and the pipe. Designed to meet industry performance requirements, 3SPW connectors are suitable for use wherever a PVC connecting pipe joins a concrete structure. 3SPW is designed to be glued into a manhole, creating a reliable fit.

PVC to Concrete Connectors for Sustainable Sewage Systems

Tylox® 3SPW connectors are engineered to fit snugly into the cored or formed hole of a precast concrete structure. A watertight connection is achieved simply by inserting the pipe spigot through the connector and into the structure.

The Tylox® 3SPW connectors utilize a 3-step hole in the structure. The dimensions of the cored or formed hole are engineered to approximate the bell dimensions for the appropriate size of PVC pipe, and a watertight connection is achieved simply by inserting the pipe spigot into the structure in the same manner as you would insert it into the PVC pipe bell.

Synthetic Rubber 3SPW Connectors

Tylox® 3SPW connectors are manufactured from synthetic rubber compounds to meet the material and testing requirements of ASTM C923 and BNQ 2622-420 specifications. These connectors are also available in an oil-resistant rubber, identified by an orange dot on the rubber molding watertight sealing at 7 degrees of axial deflection.” Other materials to meet different specifications or project requirements may be available.

Pressure Rating

3SPW Connectors have been tested to 13 psig (90 kPa) watertight sealing in straight alignment and 10 psig (69 kPa)

Tylox® 3SPW connectors are designed for use with 4” (100 mm) through 24” (610 mm) SDR35 PVC pipe connections with precast concrete structures.
