Peter Vermes, P.Eng

Since joining Straub Tadco in 2005 as a general manager responsible for sales and marketing, Peter has been a problem-solver for customers needing solutions to unique issues. He enjoys “projects that involve challenging problems that cannot be solved with a cookie-cutter solution,” adding that “it gives me great pride when we can determine the most feasible solution for a customer’s unique application, especially when it presents a challenge that cannot be met with an existing solution.” Peter’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and additional training in the Vlerick Business School’s management development program. In his spare time, he plays recreational hockey, coaches girl’s hockey and plays drums in a rock band.
